Skin Id Chemical Burn

An antidote against the slump

In the atmosphere of gloom and desolation that great falls on Lebanon and a glimmer arises and as a firefly whose awareness only when it is darker than usual, she just dispel some of the suffocating dullness and give hope to all those who continue to believe that words are always stronger than the weapons.

A cultural magazine was born. It's called "Kalamon" as if its authors wanted to start giving back to words their intrinsic merit of origin, one that brings them back to their early roots, the letters K, L, M, N being held in the alphabet, but combined words mean. The word slave gagged or resuming its freedom.

Originally the project, a dozen writers and intellectuals gathered around a simple and powerful idea: to resume the dialogue (interrupted, hindered or nonexistent) between currents of thought that mix, but that 's ignore.

Ahmad Beydoun, Hassan Daoud Azza Charara Beydoun, Hissam Itani, Manal Khodr, Hazem Saghieh, Rabih Mroueh, Abbas Beydoun, Bashar Haidar Samer Frangieh and does not seek to shine, they do not need, but to create opportunities. Their primary concern is to speak, but also and above all give back to others.

Kalamon is a quarterly magazine. The number zero is out. To read it, simply visit the site (here ) still embryonic review and download.

Words free land in the city. Enjoy!
