OUANANICHE make music forever, and made his first steps in MAO in 1998 in compositions resolutely techno hardcore under the name CCAlwest. He directed his first film together (The Syndrome Borgne in 2000, The Voyage of Sample in 2001 which will go into more festivals ...). In February 2003 he created and starts Ouananiche mixes live video with the group at The Break Cithéa (Paris). It will become their official VJ and follows on several dates at Batofar at Reims Jazz Festival, the Project 101 ... JOAN is more oriented towards hardtek and electro break (trend Aphex Twin) and is only since 1999. He eats alongside a passion for the image and light, and in this context that meet Landlocked Salmon. As they work on the same media, Joan moved to pool their energies and to found a concept of music and video. Under the impact of their influences (cons metal trip-hop, punk rock song French cons ...) their music is at once freer and deviates from the marked trails techno.
